discover the postal service are playing at a small local venue, e-mail K to see if she wants to go, yes!, run over to record store during lunch and buy tickets, return to work and all of a sudden remember that I can't go to the postal service show because Mum has made reservations at a really nice restaurant for a joint birthday celebration for the very same night, feel really bummed, break the bad news to K, have a couple of pints, find joy in the fact that K remembers the postal service might be playing in San Francisco the next day, check online to find out that this is indeed true, buy tickets!
The short version: I'm going to see the Postal Service!
