Any team could have beat the Yankees, and I would have been happy. The fact that it was the Red Sox made it that much more cool. And the fact that they ended up winning the series, SWEEPING the series, is just fantastic.
It's been really cool to see people around here getting swept up in the excitement. At the Bridge School Benefit last Sunday, I saw more Red Sox caps than Giants or A's.
Hooray for baseball, and double hooray for the Red Sox!
