The aluminum Christmas tree I mentioned last week? Totally fabulous. If I actually decide to decorate The Charming Apartment next year, I am so going the route of an ultra fake tree.
I braved the mall at lunch today, and actually, it wasn't THAT bad. Trying to get into the parking structure was the most difficult part of the whole endeavor. I'm glad I went today and didn't wait until, oh, I dunno, tomorrow. A good portion of my shopping has been completed, but the part at the mall is done, and that's the part I was dreading the most. Whew. It looks like I won't have to order all those hopping lederhosen after all (friends and family, please try and hide your disappointment).
