A couple days ago I was tasked with buying some snacks for a meeting at work. A nautical themed meeting (don't ask). I ended up buying Chips Ahoy! and some goldfish crackers. The cookies were an "AHA!" moment on the way to the store. The goldfish were a lucky coincidence. It was only after I had scarfed half the bag (evil crunchy, delicious goldfish) that I realized they went with the meeting theme.
When I bought my motorcycle boots I worried that they'd be one of those pairs of shoes that I had wanted for SO LONG and then never wore once they were sitting in my closet. I'm happy to report that I've worn them 4 out of 5 days this week (three of those days with a skirt)! I heart my motorcycle boots. It also helps that it's been cold and kinda rainy. Otherwise, I think they'd still be sitting in the closet.
I've signed up for NaBloPoMo again this year. Let's cross our fingers that this time I don't get laid-off half way through it.
Also, I have lots of little thoughts knocking around in my head that aren't lengthy enough for what I would consider a "full" post. So I'm grouping things together that don't necessarily go together (nautical themed snacks? motorcycle boots?). This is also making me think I may need to change the format of this blog from one entry to multiple entries? Yay? Nay?
