Blog? What blog? Oh, right! I have a blog!
It's the usual excuse. Life got in the way. Work became extra busy (mandatory meetings plus deadlines to reach right before I leave for a couple of vacation days = a little bit of stress) and really, yeah. It's just been work. Oh, and friends! This month is "Birthday Month" round these parts. C is at the beginning of the month, and we have friends who are a week apart birthday-wise, so we've happily trekked up to Berkeley two weekends in a row for celebratory fun (Ethiopian food one night, and Cafe Gratitude another night (I am accepting!)). Tomorrow is the boyfriend's birthday and then I head up to Oregon over the long weekend to celebrate my Aunt and Uncles 40th wedding anniversary (What is the gift for that? Are we getting in to the heavy metals? Ah! About.com says Ruby). So I need to pack for that and try and get the boyfriend to pick a restaurant for his Birthday dinner. Oh! And I got my hair cut. I'm back to the bangs. I wasn't so sure about it last night, but I'm getting used to it now.
So, that's my excuse. And really, I'm not complaining, I'm just letting you know. In case you thought I was dead or something.
