I installed a CD burner.

And no I don't mean I just put in the CD and installed some drivers. I took apart B's old computer which fried itself last year, and had been housing a perfectly good CD burner. I opened up my Dell, removed the pathetic CD rom drive it came with and installed the formerly unused burner. Yay for me!

It's the small things that make me proud.


Unrelated, but noteworthy: I just love the new look of podular.net.
JOtto.com is also new and improved.

11.04.01 (sunday)

Lou's Living Donut Museum (and Donut Shop) has pumpkin donuts. It's a seasonal thing, and I have to assume that they're quite good for 2 reasons. #1 - the other two 'flavors' of donuts I've had there have been very tasty and #2 - they were completely out of pumpkin donuts by 9:30 am on saturday morning. Although I did find out that you can call ahead and have them set donuts aside for you. If I ever want to try the elusive pumpkin donut, I just may have to do that.
