THE FAVORITE COUSIN SCARF:
Materials:
Yarn:
1 - 50g skein of Geisha in Burgundy (Shade 1962)
1 - 50g skein of Geisha in Black (Shade 1960)
Needles:
I used US #9 Bryspun Needles
You'll also need large yarn needles to weave in the ends, I used a 2 3/4" needle
Pattern:
Cast on 20 stitches of the color of your choice. Knit 10 rows, switch to the other color, knit another 10 rows, and switch back to the original color. Repeat until the scarf is as long as you want or you run oit of yarn. I always try to end with the same color I started with.
This is yet another fairly easy scarf. The geisha yarn is very soft and not as fuzzy as some of the yarn I've been knitting with, so it went fairly quick. If you make this scarf as a gift, be sure to include care instructions. For example, the geisha is synthetic, so if you throw it in the dyer, it will melt. Care instructions for most yarns are listed on the yarn label, but you probably knew that already.
